Lost Treasures

From the four corners of the land
they came
these treasures of ours.

Carrying with them the threads
of our people
weaving the fabric of our future.

New dances they learned
marching side by side
these treasures of ours.

Hidden in the dark of night
they sang and danced
these treasures of ours.

Now we stand together
at the end of the trail they began
leaving behind
our treasures.

Now they sleep side by side
under the starry skies
hidden by neon
away from home.

Our lost treasures.
